Temperanceville Plant - 2nd Shift Harvest Room Lead Full Time

Job Details:

The essential functions of this position includes, but is not limited to:

The Lead is responsible for tracking the necessary paperwork and changes associated with live receiving (growers, grower changes, picks up paperwork at live scale, transfer information to appropriate reporting forms, keeps eviscerating and shipping aware of the birds being run). Must be able to give breaks as necessary to the live hangers Must be able to prepare work area and help retrieve needed supplies Must have the knowledge and experience to give other team members breaks as need be Must be able to place and move team members on the line as needed. Assist supervisor and management in day to day line personnel, paper work, grower change Be able to alert supervisor and management when problems arise Must be able to communicate properly with USDA

Pay: $22.10/hr

Shift: 2nd

6-months continuous work experience with one employer within the last 12 months as listed on the application.

II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Must be able to maneuver freely throughout the plant Must be able to climb stairs to get to and from work areas Must be able to tolerate walking, standing for duration of shift Must be able to lift 40 pounds plus Must be able to use hands, lifting, bending, twisting Must be able to use knives and scissors if required

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA, OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTION

Must be able to read, write and have a basic knowledge of math. Must possess and utilize good communication skills Must have valid driver’s license Lock-out/Tag-out certified Good previous work and attendance record

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 90 days.
