The Strategy and Transformation unit is responsible for driving KONE’s long-term success by identifying the right strategic priorities, ensuring a common direction and bringing the strategy to life together with KONE’s areas and other functions. Strategy & Transformation develops our strategy and operating model (KONE Way) and is responsible for driving large strategic transformations.

Business Analyst Trainees - join KONE’s Strategy & Transformation unit to shape the next chapter of KONE!

This is a unique opportunity to join KONE at a pivotal moment in the company’s history - we are accelerating the execution of our Rise strategy while preparing for the potential integration of TK Elevator. Strategy & Transformation unit helps drive KONE’s long-term success by identifying the right strategic priorities, ensuring a common direction, and bringing strategy to life together with KONE’s areas and other functions.

As a Business Analyst Trainee, you will work as a full member of the team with high-priority strategic initiatives. We are looking for senior university students close to graduation who are ready to take on responsibility and contribute from the outset. Your daily work may include conducting structured quantitative and qualitative analyses, turning complex information into clear insights and recommendations, preparing compelling presentations, and collaborating with stakeholders across KONE. Recent internship projects have included, for example market due diligence for New Building Solutions business, pricing analysis, and competitor benchmarking, but looking ahead, you may have the opportunity to contribute to integration planning or other transformation initiatives that support KONE's next phase of growth.

Requirements for the role:​

• University studies close to graduation in finance, business, engineering or another relevant field
• Strong academic performance
• Some experience from demanding analytical work, e.g. in consulting, private equity, banking, corporate finance or a comparable environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical reasoning skills
• Strong communication skills, with a strong command of PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work both independently with a proactive attitude, and as a team member with excellent collaboration skills
• Fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in the use of AI agents and data analysis environments such as Python, Databricks, Power BI, or Celonis is considered an advantage

The internship is full-time, starting flexibly between January-May 2027 and lasting from 3 months up to 12 months, offering flexibility to match different study situations. The primary location is KONE headquarters in Espoo, Finland.
