Position Summary

The Company Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff, documents, and other items related to company operations. The successful candidate should be professional, courteous, and always adhere to all traffic rules.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Safe Transportation:
   • Safely transport company staff and guests to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
   • Deliver and pick up company documents and items as directed.
2. Vehicle Maintenance:
   • Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
   • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
   • Report any vehicle malfunctions or damages immediately.
3. Documentation & Compliance:
   • Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, including mileage, fuel receipts, and maintenance logs.
   • Ensure compliance with all driving rules and regulations.
   • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
4. Professionalism & Confidentiality:
   • Represent the company in a professional manner during all interactions on the road.
   • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of items and documents during transit.
5. Communication:
   • Communicate any delays or unforeseen circumstances that might affect scheduled trips or deliveries.
   • Collaborate with office staff to plan and schedule trips.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
• Familiarity with the traffic laws and regulations in Ghana.
• Ability to pass a background check and periodic drug tests, if required.
