About the Role

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer who believes great design is not just about how things look, but how they work - especially when the stakes are real. From your first day, you'll shape the experience behind Estonia's mission-critical systems, designing interfaces that bring real value and make a difference in how vital services are delivered.

You'll thrive here if you:

• Have 2+ years of experience as a UX or UI Designer.
• Work confidently with responsive design principles.
• Create clear, testable prototypes using tools such as Figma or similar.
• Can show your thinking through past work - a portfolio, case studies, or designs you can walk us through.
• Are comfortable working in both Estonian and English (at least B2 level).

Nice to have experience:

• Running usability tests and turning what you learn into better designs.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and W3C guidelines.
• Understanding of frontend development, JavaScript-based frameworks, or REST web services.
• Exposure to Veera or TEDI design systems
