Acclimatization Operator

Job Description Summary

Responsible for supporting and monitoring acclimatization activities to ensure plants develop properly and are ready for transfer to the next stage of production.

Job Description

• Monitor and maintain plants during the acclimatization process according to established procedures.

• Select plants that are ready to be transferred to pre-conditioning or estate areas.

• Monitor the movement of plants in and out of the acclimatization area.

• Support the preparation and availability of tools and materials required for acclimatization activities.

• Collect and maintain basic acclimatization and plant development data.

• Monitor rejected or discarded plants and support the disposal process.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the acclimatization area.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably in Agriculture, Agronomy, Biology, or a related field.
• Experience in plant production, nursery, or acclimatization activities is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to monitor plant conditions carefully.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a nursery/greenhouse environment.
• Responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
