Associate Lawyer - Banking, Finance & Project Finance

KG Law Firm, a multidisciplinary, leading Greek law firm dating back to the 1930s and recognized as one of the most prestigious law firms in Greece, is seeking to recruit a motivated Associate Lawyer to join its Banking & Finance practice.

Main responsibilities

• Provides legal services in the full spectrum of banking and finance, project finance, including advice in corporate law matters
• Assists in structuring, drafting and negotiating financing documentation (loan/bond agreements and various types of security agreements)
• Manages project due diligence
• Provides advice on complex legal & regulatory compliance issues with financial impact
• Assists and/or handles technical and business aspects of transaction closings, having direct client exposure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Master's degree in fields related to Commercial, Corporate or Civil law and/or Banking and Financial Law
• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece
• 2 – 5 years of working experience as a lawyer and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in banking & finance transactions and/or corporate and commercial law
• Ability to multi-task, great commitment and attention to detail
• Sound drafting skills both in the Greek and English language
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Development mindset and resilience
• Positive attitude and team-work spirit
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Personality with high morale and integrity
