The work of a trainee varies depending on the practice group you are working with and the type of deals and matters you are involved in. To help you better understand what a trainee program at KG includes, we have listed herein below the most important tasks of a trainee lawyer:

• Reviewing, drafting, processing, proofreading and translating a variety of legal documents;
• Providing assistance to expert lawyers in trial preparation, conducting legal research, assembling and organizing trial bundles and records material, filing documents at courts;
• Performing various external tasks in courts, mortgage offices, tax offices, ministries, public authorities etc.;
• Maintaining calendar of assigned active cases;
• Producing a variety of written documents and materials using a wide range of office software applications;
• Acting as a mentor to vacation scheme interns and give them in-office presentations;
• Assisting in delivering presentation of legal developments at regular in-office workshops.

Requirements

• University degree in Law from a Greek University
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent command of the English language
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
