YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

This is a hands-on backend role with end-to-end ownership:

  • Design and deploy features that power real-time, high-throughput services handling millions of daily orders.

  • Drive architectural decisions at the service or domain level, formalizing them through ADRs, RFCs, and design docs to establish a foundation for the team.

  • Operate what you build: Participate in on-call rotations, attend incident reviews, and drive measurable improvements in reliability, latency, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate across boundaries: Partner with Product, Data, and cross-functional teams to execute high-impact initiatives.

  • Contribute to engineering practices: Testing strategy, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, AI Adoption

  • Team Player: Humble, lifelong learner with a customer-first mindset,

  • Practical Knowledge: Proficient in OOP, DDD, design patterns, clean code, refactoring, unit and integration testing,

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, C#, Kotlin, or NodeJS,

  • Database Management: Experience with relational and non-relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Couchbase, Redis, and etc.,

  • Messaging Patterns: Experience with messaging patterns like Saga and Outbox, and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.,

  • Distributed Systems: Preferably experienced in fault-tolerant and loosely coupled distributed architectures, service-to-service communication, idempotency, eventual consistency,

  • Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes, observability, monitoring, and resource optimization is a significant plus

  • CI/CD Ownership: Pipelines you actually built and maintained, not just used

  • AI-Assisted Development: Familiar with using AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, and improving engineering productivity, engineering quality standards

  • Agile Mindset: Agile-minded team player with strong communication skills,

  • Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English.
