Chief Financial Officer / CFO – FX/CFD Brokerage

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a financial/FX company led by a management team with over 20 years of experience. Their mission is to simplify trading complexities and deliver excellence to clients across multiple continents and countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the dealing operations and managing the risk associated with trading activities in the forex financial company on highest level.


Position: Chief Financial Officer / CFO – FX/CFD Brokerage

Location: UAE, Dubai

Employment type: Full-time


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and execute the company’s financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting processes

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the board, focusing on growth, ROI, and cost optimisation

• Support business expansion into new markets through structured financial planning and analysis

• Manage high-volume, multi-currency cash flows across multiple jurisdictions

• Oversee banking relationships and global payment flow operations

• Implement hedging strategies to ensure liquidity, capital adequacy, and financial stability

• Ensure compliance with offshore regulatory frameworks (e.g. FSCA, FSA, and other jurisdictions)

• Oversee financial reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions

• Structure entities and financial operations for tax efficiency and regulatory compliance

• Maintain transparency and accountability across all financial processes

• Develop and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard company and client assets

• Monitor financial and trading-related risk exposure

• Ensure compliance with internal governance and risk frameworks

• Lead and manage the global finance team across multiple regions

• Drive automation and efficiency across financial processes and reporting systems

• Oversee ERP and treasury management system implementation and optimisation

• Align finance operations with overall business and trading objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)

• Minimum 5+ years in senior finance leadership within FX/CFD brokerage environments (mandatory)

• Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-currency treasury operations

• Strong knowledge of offshore regulatory frameworks (FSCA, FSA, etc.)

• Experience working with brokerage trading environments and financial systems

• Strong strategic, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities

• Experience with ERP systems and treasury management tools

• Exposure to fast-growing FX/CFD brokerage environments

• Experience managing cross-border finance teams.
