Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Support & Operations

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Linux and container orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, VPN, network segmentation)

• Motivation to take ownership and actively contribute to shaping the team

• You want to grow into infrastructure engineering, not stay in pure support

• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Additional cloud providers (AWS, GCP)

• On-premises infrastructure

• Configuration management with Ansible

• Nix package manager and Nix build process

• Certificate management or PKI

• Monitoring & observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor)

• IoT environments

• Scrum / agile delivery

Requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• Ensure cloud infrastructure services are operational, you are the first point of contact when something breaks

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents across cloud and on-prem environments

• Take over operational responsibilities from existing teams and build runbooks and automation to run them sustainably

• Support R&D squads with infrastructure questions, onboarding, and troubleshooting

• Continuously improve operational processes, identify recurring issues, automate manual steps, reduce toil

• Shape the service catalog, identify gaps, improve services, automate repeating work
