The Laborer position is responsible for safely performing a variety of physically demanding tasks to support construction operations. Job Responsibilities
- Perform duties as assigned.
- Work closely with Foreman and team members to ensure construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner.
- Carry out construction projects, which may require the operation of a variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Unload and load construction materials.
- Must be flexible and willing to learn and use new skills quickly.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in construction work or equivalent experience preferred.
- Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies preferred.
- Willing to work long hours if necessary.
Skills and Specifications
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience working effectively in a team environment.
