Payroll Administrator - Part time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality payroll service, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage monthly and lunar payrolls, including BACS processing and HMRC submissions.
• Reconcile payroll data and process third-party payments.
• Support pension auto-enrolment assessments and compliance.
• Ensure payroll risk controls and procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet payroll deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices in payroll processing

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience working in payroll or a strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments (SMP, SSP), and pension auto-enrolment.
• Understanding of court orders, deduction orders, and benefits in kind is beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
