Job Description
The QA Internal Auditor Supervisor is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining
the Food Safety Management System in compliance with BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC
22000, legal regulations, and customer requirements.
The role ensures that verification and calibration activities are effectively managed,
compliance with management system requirements is consistently monitored, and
corrective actions are taken when necessary to uphold high standards of food safety and
quality.
With Current GFI 3 Year Plan, We are looking to heavily integrate A Strong QMS, FSMS
Systems for the Company, after Years of Development and Operational Know How.
Scope of Work
1. FSMS Establishment and Implementation:
o Develop, implement, and monitor FSMS policies, procedures, and records aligned with certification,
legal, and customer requirements.
o Ensure full integration of FSMS elements across production sites for consistent application.
o Maintain a robust documentation control process to ensure accessibility and version control.
2. FSMS Maintenance:
o Monitor FSMS performance and update procedures when required.
o Lead periodic reviews and updates of food safety risk assessments, HACCP plans, prerequisite
programs (PRPs), and operational controls.
o Ensure all corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are tracked, completed, and verified for
effectiveness.
3. Verification Activities:
o Establish a verification schedule for final Product, PRPs, CCPs, OPRPs, and process controls.
o Analyze verification data to confirm process effectiveness and ongoing compliance.
o Present verification results to management and recommend improvements where necessary.
4. Calibration Management
o Ensure all measuring devices, weighing scales, thermometers, and critical instruments are calibrated
according to schedule.
o Maintain up-to-date calibration records and address any non-conformities found during calibration.
o Liaise with approved service providers for calibration services and maintain service agreements.
5. Compliance Monitoring:
o Monitor compliance with:
Legal food safety and regulatory requirements ex (NFSA, Employees health cert. , etc.)
Customer-specific requirements (product specifications, codes of practice, audit standards).
Management system requirements for certifications (BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)
o Maintain and regularly update a compliance register.
o Track regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
6. Training & Awareness
o Support training programs to ensure staff understand FSMS procedures, verification
requirements, calibration protocols, and compliance obligations.
o Assess training effectiveness and arrange refresher sessions when necessary.
7. Continuous Improvement
o Identify trends from verification, calibration, and compliance monitoring data.
o Recommend and support implementation of system improvements to prevent recurrence of
issues.

24 Month Scope
3 Month
1. Work closely with QA & Certification team on developing and submitting the targeted FSMS implementation plan.
2. Approve and initiate verification and calibration schedules.
3. Review and update compliance registers for legal, customer, and certification requirements.
6 Month
1. Update FSMS documentation to align with certification in the scope.
2. Achieve 100% execution of planned verification and calibration activities.
3. Deliver first compliance performance report to management.
9 Month
1. Maintain certification requirements for ISO 22000, BRCGS, and FSSC 22000.
2. Ensure verification and calibration records have zero overdue items.
3. Train all relevant staff on updated FSMS procedures and compliance requirements.
1 Year
1. Maintain 100% completion of scheduled verification and calibration activities.
2. Demonstrate improved compliance scores year-on-year in internal and external evaluations.
2 Years
Fine Tune all FSMS Process and Procedures and be ready for the new season.
On Season KPI
100% completion of planned verification activities within schedule.
100% on-time calibration of all critical equipment.
Monthly compliance status reports without overdue actions.
Pre-Season KPI
Update FSMS documentation and risk assessments before season start.
Prepare and distribute verification and calibration schedules.
Conduct compliance checks to confirm readiness for customer and certification audits
