We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Assistant with a passion in quality excellence, food safety and continuous improvement to join our team in Aspropyrgos

As a Quality Assurance Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety and regulatory compliance across the organization. You will collaborate closely with different departments to identify improvement opportunities, resolve quality issues and ensure that customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the HACCP, Occupational Risk Assessment and Emergency Response Plan.
  • Develop new company procedures and update existing procedures in collaboration with department managers.
  • Coordinate the cleaning team and communicate with warehouse supervisors regarding cleaning requirements.
  • Collect and maintain cleaning records and documentation.
  • Monitor the pest control program.
  • Coordinate and implement the equipment calibration program in collaboration with the Technical Department.
  • Prepare and maintain minutes of Quality Department meetings.
  • Monitor and implement the internal audit program and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Communicate with managers and team members to identify, troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to following established procedures.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within established timelines.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • .Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma (TEI/IEK) in Logistics, Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems will be considered an asset.
