We are looking for an experienced Senior Freight Forwarder to join our team in Bulgaria.

As a Senior Freight Forwarder, you will take ownership of managing international road freight operations, ensuring seamless end-to-end shipment execution while building strong relationships with customers and carriers to deliver reliable, efficient, and high-quality logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage international road freight operations across Europe, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end transport process, from shipment booking through to final delivery, while maintaining high service standards.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with carriers, customers and partners.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates and secure transport capacity to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Proactively monitor shipments, identify potential disruptions and implement timely solutions to ensure seamless delivery.
• Provide accurate, timely, and professional communication to customers regarding shipment status and operational updates.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of transport documentation, including CMRs and all relevant shipping documents, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations and other internal stakeholders to deliver tailored logistics solutions and exceptional customer service.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health, safety and quality standards throughout all transport operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in international freight forwarding, logistics or transport operations.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong understanding of European road transport operations, regulations and market dynamics.
• Previous experience with refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport will be considered a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
• Ability to work effectively, prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused approach with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality services.
