Overview of the Role
The Senior Financial Planning Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting financial planners by managing complex administrative tasks and assisting in the preparation of detailed financial reports and client documentation. Main duties include:
- Assist in the preparation and review of detailed financial plans and reports.
- Manage client files, ensuring data accuracy and completeness within the financial planning software.
- Prepare product comparisons, quotations, and application forms for clients.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, manage appointments, and handle travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with advisers and paraplanners to support compliance and quality assurance.
- Follow up on applications, insurance underwriting, and other client requests to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client and internal interactions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior financial planning assistants.
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow optimizations within the team.
Requirements
- Graduate of any relevant course with a strong background in financial services or administration.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial planning assistant or related role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software (e.g., XPLAN preferred).
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Reliable internet connection with minimum 15 Mbps speed.
- Residence within key operational locations such as Cebu or Cagayan de Oro is preferred.
