Senior Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities

-Lead the design and implementation of complex Java Microservices.

-Define and promote architectural patterns, coding standards and security best practices.

-Take ownership of IAM architecture, including Keycloak, Okta and OIDC.

-Drive technical discussions with Product Owners, Architects and engineering teams.

-Identify and solve performance, scalability and security challenges.

-Lead code reviews and promote engineering quality standards.

-Work with tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.

-Mentor Junior and Mid-Level developers.

-Create and maintain technical documentation, including ADRs and technical runbooks.

Essential skills

-8+ years of professional experience.

-Strong hands-on experience with Java and Microservices.

-Solid knowledge of Software Architecture and distributed systems.

-Experience making technical and architectural decisions.

-Strong experience with IAM / Identity & Access Management.

-Hands-on experience with Keycloak, Okta and OIDC.

-Knowledge of authentication, authorization and federation.

-Experience with code reviews, secure coding and quality practices.

-Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

-Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers.

Desired skills

-Experience as a Java Technical Lead, Java Architect or Software Architect.

-Experience in E-commerce / Unified Commerce environments.

-Experience with cloud-native architectures.

-Experience with Keycloak realm architecture and Okta federation.

-Experience working with Product Owners and Enterprise/Solution Architects.
