Senior/Middle Backend Developer (Go)

We are currently looking for Senior/Middle+ Backend Developers to join our teams:

• JoomPro is the first and only end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. It serves small, medium, and large businesses, handling orders of any size from start to finish. Today, JoomPro operates in Brazil and Mexico, with plans to expand into other markets. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Amazon AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch
• The Development Infrastructure team is responsible for the uninterrupted operation of internal services, the fault tolerance of components, the evolution of the codebase architecture, as well as creating and maintaining tools for developers. Tech stack: Go, Bazel, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, KCL, Terraform, MongoDB, Postgres
• The Antifraud Infrastructure team is responsible for ensuring platform security, including infrastructure protection, bot management, user device authorization, personal data storage, and preventing data leaks. Tech stack: Go, Kotlin, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Spark (Scala, SQL), Amazon AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ML
• The Client Backend team is responsible for all API requests coming from our mobile apps and Joom's web client. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Redis, Casandra, Kafka, sometimes Spark (Scala, SQL), Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus

Responsibilities

• Come up with architecture
• Program in Go (Go is not a must for us; it is more important for a successful candidate to have solid algorithm skills, fundamental technical knowledge, and great coding skills in general)
• Provide fault tolerance for coded services in an AWS environment
• Be prepared for a constant increase of processed and stored data loads and volumes
• Participate in new feature and product development discussions

Requirements

• Confident knowledge of any of the programming languages: Go/Java/Kotlin/C++/Python/Scala
• Complex project development experience
• Excellent algorithmic training
• Experience in development for Linux / Unix

Preferred

• Experience with highload
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes
