Specialist / Consultant Pain Medicine - Government Sector | UAE

A leading government healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking experienced Specialists and Consultants in Pain Medicine to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The role offers an excellent opportunity for internationally trained physicians to work within a modern healthcare environment with advanced clinical facilities and a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions.
• Develop individualized multidisciplinary pain management plans.
• Perform and interpret appropriate pain-related diagnostic assessments.
• Provide interventional pain procedures where appropriately trained, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other image-guided procedures.
• Manage musculoskeletal, neuropathic, cancer-related, postoperative, and chronic pain conditions.
• Collaborate with anesthesiology, neurology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, and other specialties.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust pain management plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
• Postgraduate qualification or advanced fellowship/specialization in Pain Medicine, Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or a related specialty.
• Relevant clinical experience in pain medicine and management of complex pain conditions.
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary and, where applicable, interventional pain management.
• Internationally recognized qualifications are highly valued, including:
• UK CCT / GMC Specialist Qualification
• Western Qualified
• American Board
• Australian Board
• South African Board
• Excellent clinical, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
