Consultant Occupational Medicine (UK CCT | Western Qualified | American Board)

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Occupational Medicine physician to provide occupational health services, workplace medical assessments, preventive care, and clinical leadership.

Key Duties

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic and return-to-work medical assessments.
• Assess fitness for duty and manage work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and oversee occupational health surveillance programs.
• Identify workplace health risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Support employee wellness, health promotion and disease-prevention programs.
• Advise organizations on occupational health policies and workplace medical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and occupational health teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior physicians and participate in clinical audits, research and CME activities.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine / Occupational Health.
• UK CCT, Western Qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in Occupational Medicine preferred.
• Experience in occupational health, workplace risk assessment and preventive medicine.
• DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant eligibility or license, subject to authority assessment.
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical decision-making skills.
