Consultant Chest Physician (UK CCT | Western Qualified | American Board)

Job Summary

A leading healthcare organization in the Qatar is seeking an experienced Consultant Chest Physician / Pulmonologist to provide specialist care for complex respiratory and pulmonary conditions in a tertiary-care setting.

Key Duties

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Manage asthma, COPD, pneumonia, ILD, pulmonary infections and pulmonary hypertension.
• Evaluate and manage sleep-related breathing disorders.
• Perform or supervise bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures where appropriately trained.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and respiratory investigations.
• Manage complex respiratory and critical-care cases.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching and research.

Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine / Chest Medicine.
• Consultant-level clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary hospital.
• UK CCT, Western Qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board.
• Strong experience in complex respiratory medicine and pulmonary procedures.
• DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant eligibility or license, subject to authority assessment.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
