What you'll do

  • Identify business opportunities, prepare pitches and source financing mandates from private equity firms, corporates, family offices and entrepreneurs
  • Be responsible for the execution of bespoke LBO- and Acquisition financing mandates with exposure to various industries
  • Advise our clients on complex and individual financing solutions and liase with debt providers, lawyers, DD-providers
  • Conduct and monitor credit analysis, business forecasts and scenario analysis, financial covenants sensitivities, financial modelling and manage Q&A sessions
  • Negotiate loan documentation (LMA), term sheets, commitment letters and manage the financing process until closing
  • Manage project workstreams as well as material preparations independently and develop and train junior team members


About you

  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance advisory or investment banking with an an international investment bank, another boutique advisory firm or in audit, preferably with one of the Big 4 audit firms
  • Strong academic background and excellent knowledge in financial modelling and accounting (HGB, IFRS) as well as a network within the financial community
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done, and confidence to drive various work streams on projects
  • Willingness to support the team with a desire to grow and to develop the business in a performance driven environment
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
