Job Summary

The Watersports Attendant is responsible for the training of guests in the use of all boats and watersports activities and assisting in the maintenance of the hotel’s beachfront, beach furniture and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• 
  Maintain the beach and its furniture in immaculate condition
• 
  Instruct guests in the use of boats and watersports activities
• 
  Organize and supervise boat excursions to include fishing and snorkeling
• 
  Provide lifeguard duties to ensure the safety of all guests on the beach and in the water
• 
  Maintain the cleanliness and effective functioning of all pools at hotel standards
• 
  Report any source of guest feedback.

The successful candidate should have:

• 
  Minimum five (5) CXC subjects with Ranges 1 to 3 to include English Language
• 
  Possession of a Lifeguard License
• 
  2 years’ experience in a similar position
• 
  Knowledge of boats and boat repairs.
• 
  Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
• 
  An excellent track record of positive work ethics and attitude
• 
  The ability to work flexible hours including nights, public holidays and weekends
