Your mission

As the Community Manager (VC & Angels), your role is to transform Daos Hub into the primary destination for venture capital and private investors in the region. You are not just managing a room; you are architecting an investor-access engine.

Your goal is to ensure that every VC firm and Angel investor within our community experiences tangible strategic leverage—whether through curated deal flow, high-level networking, or market intelligence.

Your First 90 Days: Impact roadmap

0–30 Days: Intelligence & Trust

  • Build structured profiles of resident investors (investment thesis, ticket size, sector focus, geographic interest)
  • Establish high-trust connections with fund partners and active angels to understand their specific "deal-breaker" criteria
  • Identify the gap between our current startup residents and the needs of our investor members
  • 31–60 Days: Activation & Matchmaking

  • Facilitate the first wave of targeted introductions between high-potential startups and relevant investors
  • Design and launch the first "Closed-Door" investor formats (e.g., Thesis Roundtables or Portfolio Dinners)
  • Begin engaging with external Dubai-based VC funds and Angel networks to position Daos Hub as their strategic "scouting ground"
  • 61–90 Days: Scalability & Retention

  • Establish a systematic matchmaking process with clear tracking of "meaningful follow-ups" and potential deals
  • Take full accountability for investor retention, ensuring they view their Daos Hub membership as a strategic asset for their fund
  • Embed investor sentiment and market trends into Daos Hub’s overall admissions and BD strategy
  • How You’ll Contribute

  • Maintain dynamic intelligence on what our investors care about, what they are buying, and who they want to meet
  • Proactively connect investors with founders, operators, and other capital allocators based on strategic fit, not just "networking"
  • Design and execute curated, high-level investor events (invite-only discussions, co-hosted strategic activations, deal-flow sessions)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for VCs and Angels, ensuring high-trust communication and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with the BD and Admissions teams to ensure the "startup layer" of the hub matches the "investor layer" expectations
  • What You Bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience in VC Platform/Portfolio management, Investor Relations, Venture Builders, or high-end Angel Networks
  • You know how funds operate, what a "LP/GP" relationship is, and what makes a startup "investable"
  • Exceptional communication and self-presentation skills—you are comfortable talking to Fund Partners and UHNWIs
  • A proven track record of creating value through introductions that lead to actual business outcomes
  • While you don't need to be a developer, you must understand the current trends and narratives in the Web3 and AI sectors.
