Emergency Medicine Specialist / Consultant - UK CCT

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist / Consultant with UK CCT to join a leading hospital in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and critical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Provide timely and evidence-based treatment for medical, surgical, trauma, and other emergency presentations.
• Manage critically ill and deteriorating patients, including resuscitation and stabilization.
• Perform and supervise emergency procedures within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, inpatient teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure appropriate referral, admission, discharge, and follow-up of patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical handovers.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Support clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, and infection-control initiatives.
• Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals where required.
• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

Requirements

• UK CCT in Emergency Medicine from an approved training pathway.
• Valid registration with the relevant UK medical regulatory authority.
• Relevant post-CCT clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in emergency and acute care medicine.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, or equivalent certifications, as applicable.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the relevant health authority's assessment.
