Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
  • Collaborating with the Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Privacy teams
  • Advising the company on corporate matters
  • Overseeing regulatory matters
  • Advising the management team on legal restrictions related to its operations
  • Supporting the business with new initiatives
  • Identifying legal issues and risks that may affect PayU’s operations (and ensuring that PayU is properly informed of these issues)
  • Providing legal advice on the formulation and implementation of PayU’s strategies and policies
  • Other tasks assigned by a supervisor within the scope of responsibilities
  • Qualifications and experience:

  • Law degree
  • At least 3 years of experience at law firms or as an in-house counsel at multinational companies
  • Experience and strong technical skills in negotiating, drafting contracts and corporate matters
  • Fluency in English and Polish (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of the payment or financial services industries
  • Knowledge of MS OFFICE
  • Privacy/GDPR knowledge
