Specialist / Consultant Radiologist - Government Sector | UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Radiologists to join its specialist medical imaging team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained physicians seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work within a modern government healthcare environment equipped with advanced imaging technology and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Provide accurate and timely radiological diagnoses and reports.
• Perform and interpret advanced imaging examinations according to area of expertise.
• Communicate significant and urgent findings promptly to referring physicians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and case discussions.
• Provide radiological consultation to physicians and other clinical teams.
• Perform image-guided procedures where appropriate and within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive radiology reports and patient records.
• Participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, and departmental improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, radiation protection, and evidence-based clinical practice.

Requirements

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in diagnostic imaging and radiological reporting.
• Proficiency in relevant imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray.
• Subspecialty expertise is an advantage, including Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiothoracic Imaging.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
