Specialist / Consultant Rheumatologist - Government Sector | UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking qualified and experienced Rheumatologists to join its specialist medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
• Manage complex and chronic rheumatological disorders, including inflammatory arthritis and connective tissue diseases.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
• Monitor treatment response and medication-related complications.
• Provide preventive care, patient education, and lifestyle guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other medical specialties.
• Review laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic findings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental activities.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice.

Requirements

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology / Internal Medicine with Rheumatology specialization.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in managing rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
• Experience working within a hospital or multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
