Consultant Hematologist (UK CCT-Board Certified) Leading Healthcare

A leading healthcare group in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Hematologist to provide specialist care for patients with complex haematological disorders. The role involves diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term management of both benign and malignant blood disorders within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex haematological conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and investigations.
• Manage patients with anaemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, thrombosis, and other blood disorders.
• Evaluate and manage haematological malignancies where applicable.
• Interpret laboratory, pathology, flow cytometry, and relevant diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and other specialties.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and tumour boards.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
• Support clinical audits, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to teaching and training.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Hematology / Haematology & Internal Medicine.
• Consultant-level clinical experience.
• American, Canadian, Australian, Irish Board, CCT/CCST or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a tertiary hospital or comprehensive hematology service.
• DHA / DoH / MOHAP licence or eligibility preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
